Your source has nothing to do with my opinion, one way or the other.
Most modern media (news type) is a business. They are in business for a profit. Remove the profit and they fade away. Fox is a prime example. Rupert learned that claiming the main stream news media is biased toward the left drew the right to his network, thus increasing profits.

To be fair confirmation bias isn't a left problem, it is a human problem and it is practiced regularly by people across the political spectrum. I've blocked a grand total of zero fellow RP members but I've been blocked many times by people on the right who don't want to hear what I have to say.
Now I don't expect them to agree with me, and I don't expect you to agree with most of my posts. But I don't believe you've ever blocked me, and for that I respect you. Listening to the arguments of people that don't agree with us can sometimes feel like eating a sh!t sandwich, particularly if they are making points that we don't want to acknowledge, but it's an important part of being able to live together as a single nation.

I also have been blocked a number of times. I think those that block me just cannot justify their own comments. They make accusations, with no evidence, then close their minds to any information that does not support their comment. Example below.
Open discourse is one of our freedoms I take most seriously.

I love it when I hear leftists proclaim that they are open to civil discourse while those on the right are mean spirited and close minded. How then does one explain all the censorship of conservative commentary on social media (well documented)? Or censorship of conservative voices in American schools and on college campuses (again, well documented)? It simply doesn't match the evidence, does it?

CPT Jack Durish - I think it matches the evidence that it isn't confined to people on the left or the right, but a more general human nature problem.

Anyone who believes in Independence and individual freedom is who they want to silence. Currently those voices are largely conservative
