The final days of Anne Boleyn

As I wander through the final stage of my life, I sometimes think of that thing that I never considered when I was young, death, and I wonder how I will face it. I suspect without fear, hopefully with a joke (which is how I have confronted pain when it has come to me). Those of us who have gone in harms way have known that death was an imminent threat but shrugged it off as something that would take "the other guy" and the other guy often looked surprised in death which likely proves that they too were thinking that it wouldn't be them. But those of us who are condemned to death (which is all) and nearing the moment, must think of it occasionally. Here we have a story of someone who it is reported faced it bravely (or was it stoically). Is there a difference?
