All excellent points! Hope we never have to test this system.

I believe light infantry is the biggest impediment for women. I can't imagine a 120 lbs. woman carrying 100 lbs. of gear.

SCPO Morris Ramsey - It is evidenced by many infantrymen who have bad backs and knees.

Sir I was 90lbs when I reached Ft Benning and 95lbs when I reported to Airborne School. They made me an AG on a 60 team when I got to Ft Drum. If a 120lbs woman can do the job let her. Though I do feel they should have to meet all the standards as a male to include PT to filter out those who want versus those who can.

SSG Jeffrey Monk - I am not against women going into infantry as long as they can pass the standards.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Oh I agree. I totally feel there should be one standard.
