California High-Speed Rail Construction Projects Flyover

Drone video of the incomplete and now postponed indefinitely California High Speed Rail project. Current plans are to redirect all remaining funds to complete these incomplete portions between Merced, CA and Bakersfield, CA and turn them over to Amtrak to run their current set of corridor trains on. So at least Amtrak will recognize somewhat of a time savings over it's route but I don't see 250 mph trains..........more like 80 mph. Still some of the flyovers and trenches will save on train delays. So at least there will be some small benefit from the project. It's too bad they didn't start with a much smaller project OR attempted incremental improvements over time.
