Space Force would be by far the smallest military service

Our two greatest space competitors Russia and China pose a serious threat and we can no longer afford to kick the can down the road. Space is hard. It is extremely shortsighted and ignorant not understanding exactly why we have to be ahead of the curve if we don't want to be annihilated by a hostile nation that tries harder (orbital bombardment)

There is no need for a "space force " .the current NASA and Air Force combined will be able to do the work of a "Space Force ".
