"On January 15, 1977, The Eagles were at No.1 on the US album chart with Hotel California the group's third US No.1 album. In the 2013 documentary History of the Eagles, Don Henley said the song was about "a journey from innocence to experience...that's all"."

SGT (Join to see), on January 30, 1995, we saw The Eagles perform at The Pyramid in Memphis, TN. They were in the middle of the second year of their Hell Freezes Over tour, and naturally, Life in the Fast Lane was one their many hits we heard that night!
