The Future of Liberland

I’m with you. I just want to know when the US gets blamed for it.

Well, the short version is that Croatia and Serbia have disagreed on the border between them since the Danube was straightened out, leaving an area that neither of them claim. A Czech politician decided to found a libertarian country called Liberland there, since no one else wanted the land. It is a genuine attempt to create a country from scratch, not a tourist trap like some micronations. In this video, President Jedlicka addressed the European Parliament.
