These are no longer news stations or programs. They are fiction, pure and simple. A total waste of time.

MCPO Roger Collins - Malcolm X was on to something here; they can truly sway the way people think. That is the problem with the 4th estate.

MCPO Roger Collins - Malcom X's statement has always been true. He simply articulated it in direct language so that people could understand such power. When Gutenberg invented the press it unleashed the power to heal and to harm in ways that rumor and innuendo spoken in the shadows have long done.
Perhaps Congress should craft / draft another Amendment ## - Right To Civil and Responsible Discourse and Equity:
Section I - The Congress shall expect of the Citizens and other inhabitants of the United States who are governed under the laws created hereto by this Constitution, to act with responsibility as they enjoy the liberties guaranteed to them, and whose responsible use thereof should be governed in such as manner that there civil behaviors and discourse honor those liberties.
Section II - The Congress shall make no laws inapplicable to them that are applicable to Citizens and other inhabitants of the United States of America. While having the same rights as enumerated in other ratified amendments, the Congress shall not be accorded more rights than the Citizens and inhabitants it governs, nor shall the Congress create such conditions or laws that afford more rights or privileges because of status, wealth or any other measure of success than to which an individual or entity would be so entitled.
Section III - Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation that will neither command abridgment of guaranteed civil rights without full and transparent due process, nor repeal such laws governing human rights as are required by citizens of a civil society to continue the privilege of self-government in exercising for themselves the responsible free expression of all ideas without threat of harm in achieving the same for themselves nor in peacefully protecting the rights of others in so doing.
Humm! Not bad for a non-lawyer!!! Seriously, in our national discourse how would you see the media responding to such an Amendment? How would the average American respond? How do you respond?
By now I think most of you know I keep a copy certain documents close at hand. Frankly, citizens can suggest laws and language for laws. I don't remember any restrictions is doing the same. I think our Founders believed that such was not needed. But, it may be time to address our civil discourse with such language. Would that scare people or get their attention?

So you disagree he wouldn’t want to have a bigger, more bombastic/elegant/whatever hyperbolic adjective you want to use funeral? Huh. He’s a guy known for putting his name on everything, humility isn’t a thing I think he will pick up in death, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Have the funeral you want. Also worth noting, you are citing an opinion piece, which by definition is biased. Why not just cite the source yourself and provide your thoughts? Do you need to use Fox News’ opinion?

Having a bigger whatever is not the point. The point is that it was HIGHLY disrespectful. If you can't see that, you are part of the problem. I did post my own opinion. If you bothered to do any research, other media outlets have posted similar.

MSgt (Join to see) I didn’t give a bigger “whatever”. I just pointed out his ego is established to be large so as such not be surprised he’d be into a “bigger funeral” contest. Are you arguing that? Seriously?
As for whether or not it was (caps lock on) HIGHLY disrespectful or not, I’ll just trust your outrage on how other media outlets posted similar things. I don’t know, I pretty much don’t care, but your anger is validated, friend. But thanks for calling me part of the problem because your snowflake feelings got triggered. And all because you seem to have to defend to President’s lack of ego or something. L-O-frigging-L.

I do not think the sitting president is worried about his funeral at this time. He is too busy running the country.

Because it is hilarious. He spent so much time slamming Obama for golfing, he promised that he’d be too busy to golf. And he does it constantly. Come on, admit it. It’s funny has hell.

SPC (Join to see) - Ok, given that explanation, I agree, it is funny! But, I could care less about how much any of them golf, I only care they govern effectively and DO NO HARM!

SPC (Join to see) - Who the hell cares how much he golfs. I have had commanders and wing commanders who golf just as much as President Trump, perhaps more, and they were great commanders.
