In other words, this bill requires all to adhere to the PC standards of what the Dem/Lib/Soc/Prog consider the crimes of "hate speech", bias, prejudice, "racism", "homophobia", "xenophobia", etc., etc.
In short, a Constitutional right is to be subject to the approval of a clique of hypocritical, sanctimonious, control freaks, who insist that they know what is best for the country, and that their dream of a "better, safer American society" justifies such a travesty of the principles on which this country was founded.
We had a similar situation when the Constitution was "improved" by the 18th Amendment, by a similar clique of "do-gooders" who thought that Prohibition would lead to a "safe and sober society". The result was to enrich and empower organized crime, corrupt law enforcement, foster a public contempt for the law and damn near destroy this country in its 13 year history.

Well it is New York a Liberal bastion of stupidity, anyway its next to impossible to get a carry license there unless you know someone connected on a 1st name basis. With that asshat as governor and the moron as Mayor of NYC you can see first hand how screwed NY is as a state. The poor folks in NYS being ruled by the ruling class in NYC will never have full 2A rights.

1SG Dennis Hicks - In lieu of "knowing someone", money is a good substitute. The recent scandal of NYCPD corruption in issuance of carry permits was "solved" by assigning the duty to higher-ranking officers. All that means is the price of corruption has gone up, to match the higher ranks involved.
Things haven't changed much since the Apalachin, NY "crime convention" back in '57, where the state cops found a dozen or so of the mobsters attending had pistol permits. The host of the Mafia meeting was "Joe the Barber" Barbara, whose permit application was accompanied by a character reference written by a local police chief..
