Yes, he could just not hold a press conference at all. Perfectly within his right. But he can't pick and choose who goes in--that's all they are saying. He probably just won't call on him again. And that's OK too.

So it is D+2 that Acosta has had his access to the WH restored. Notice how the world has changed. This was a stunt. If the WH had removed every single reporter then we might have an issue. Do reporters even gather news anymore anyway. Everything is magically leaked to them and they have anonymous unverifyied sources.
