That's why the spoil is spread out on real ones, it makes the nose go up higher and the tip angle increase on the down slope. Check out FM 5-34. In the case pictured the spoil has been pushed to the open ends leaving the approach and egress flat. That said; anytime you see flying tanks it's a cool shot!
