Milton Friedman: Should the government decide on what is moral?

Lt Col Charlie Brown I believe the highest selling book ever written has that topic already covered. Love thy neighbor as they self.

What is moral ? Hardly up any government to decide.

Something I remind my congregation of from time to time is a quote I heard from the pulpit years ago.
"We can not legislate morality"
It is impossible to make the right law(s) to create a moral individual(society). Morality is a decision of free will.
