Do you trust them? 15 out of 19 9/11 Hijackers were Saudi and a lot of that money trail went to both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The spread of the Salafist version of Islam is a direct result of Saudi oil money and Al Queda was getting their money from somewhere, like the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia.
I pointed out even when I was still active and active reserve that there was no real difference between the Ayatollah's and the Wahabinist. I think that it is pretty clear that the Saudis were funding some of the ISIL groups as a stopgap measure against Iran. I wouldn't trust any of our allies in the area very far.
