It will be an absolute shame and travesty if the Space Command does not partner with NASA.

MAJ Ken Landgren - or NASA become Space Force and contracts out jobs to become a profit center.

Well its a start - I always envisioned our future military as being asynchronous with decentralized decision-making. However it would require MDC2C. Big data - pushing and co-coordinating small autonomous units possibly down to the individual troop on the ground. Swam type of battle space. As many domains will need to be developed and or integrated I see the Air Force spinning off a new unique branch with the primary mission of managing the battle space via big data. Seems this would need to happen if MDC2C is to become a reality.
Imagine the efficiency in integrating all the logistics under one branch allowing a unified approach to logistics in regards to a war. Some PVT on the ground makes contact and via trigger squeeze it's reported back to this this new branch and in real time this data is is used to evaluate the threat and implement the necessary resources to deliver the desired kinetics to suppress the threat. Imagine this happening for every pair of boots on the ground. Some or all of this could/would need to be automated - that's the mission of the battle space branch. As such I feel this is a positive for the Air Force's vision and leadership - as I don't think my concept is an "if" its more of a "when". A lot a work ahead -
