William Calley apologizes for My Lai massacre

I am sure the hundreds of dead Vietnamese civilians appreciate that.

Army should not have allowed him to become a commissioned officer in the first place.

Calley flunked out of junior college with C, D and F grades before he got drafted. He also was allowed to recycle multiple times at OCS instead of being kicked out after failing. While he is responsible for his despicable actions as an unworthy 2LT, our military lowered the standards to allow him into a leadership position.

If there are any relatives alive they can accept or reject the apology.
