IMHO it will be bad for the economy, farmers need an outlet for their produce.

i fear it will be bad for the farmers of America. Tariffs are a two edged sword.

I bet Ivanka's production of clothing in China will not be impacted by tariffs. I believe the tariffs will cause inflation due to taxes and higher cost due to components and raw resources. Some companies will see reduction of revenue. Some companies will make the strategic decision to take manufacturing overseas.
