Staff Sgt. Amanda Kelley, 29, is the first enlisted woman to earn her Ranger qualification, according to 1st Armored Division spokeswoman Lt. Col. Crystal Boring.
She was one of 127 students to graduate on Friday, according to Fort Benning spokesman Benjamin Garrett, out of 347 hopefuls who began the training in late July.

I give credit to anyone that tries, let alone passes this coveted course!! It is an immense challenge for anyone. To be fair, many males have tried and failed. If she did the same without watering down the standards, I say "Congrats and g'head, ass-kicker!!". :)

On a side note, that picture reminds me of my own FL phase, where I remember thinking "if we are neck deep in water anyway, how can they call this thing a f'ing bridge".

and there I was....the one who had to swim the rope over in the first place, it did my heart (and mind) good to see others neck deep in the water...that one moment provided just enough boost to push through the rest of the way...thanks LTC memory lane can sometimes just be down right fun!
