More bad reporting. Shopify did not ban anything, their payment gateway contractor in the Credit Card area cannot handle gun purchases. So it is just the payment gateway not the entire software package. They have not given reporters an answer why they have an exclusive agreement with STRIPE, Inc (stripe.com) which handles their payment gateway. Also, I don't know how in the world you can classify an entire software company as Right or Left wing. Shopify is a publicly traded software company run via a board of directors. They also cannot support sale of specific pharmacuticals.

I take that back, publicly now the Company is saying it is a ban. However, if you go to the Shopify help site they are saying it is because their payment systems vendor is not able to handle the restrictions around gun purchases and pharmacuiticals.
