There have been people, who I have known all my life express their profound anger at me for not supporting their opposing views to some of my conservative beliefs and on many occasions would make the criticizing statement that the only reason I hold these certain views is because I grew up during the Reagan years and I always let them know that this incorrect, these views I hold were influenced from watching Carter in action.
