What do you think about the proper use of the English (American) language?
Proper use of the English language, composition, grammar, correct word usage, etc. has long been important to me. I must admit that I often make errors but I try. This video from Weird Al is both funny and meaningful. Seems like the further we rush headlong into the future that greater the English language deteriorates. Think so?

The middle finger may be freely & accurately translated to many languages.
‘Set’ has the most definititions in english but i bet ‘fuck’ can be used in many more ways.

Okay. History shows that as language complexity increases, grammar gets simplified. I don't like it and I feel people look foolish or uneducated but it is happening aided by texting.

I got a "kick" out of the video, errors and all. It's not just the written word but the spoken word as well. Words like "gonna" and "you got to" stood out. One of my personal errors (learned in the mlitary) is when I write the word "thru" instead of "through". Many times, my computer decides a word for me that I did not intend. Other times, my typinG messes things up.. :)
