Midterm payback: How Democrats will torment Trump

What will the Democrats campaign on? The economy? Well, first they said it wasn't really getting better. Then they conceded that it was but that it was President Obama's accomplishment. Now they're saying it's "Reckless Growth". I'm confused. Are you? Oh, and they want to raise taxes. That doesn't sound like a winner, does it? And lest we forget, they want to abolish ICE. Maybe that will win the election for them.

We were in political upheaval for nearly a year after GWB was elected. When our country was attacked, we were all together for a while. I believe if we were attacked again, the political hate and vitriol goes away for a while and we are one again, for a while.

My Dad used to say, and he was part of the Greatest Generation, that if there was another world war, somewhat like in the late 1930’s and 1940’s, the USA would be unable to mobilize like the country did back then. Of course, wars would be quite a bit quicker than back then. But I tend to agree with him. We can’t even go to the moon like we did in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
