Thank you my friend for SGT John " Mac " McConnell for sharing an account of the amazing acrobat and balance capabilities of 19th century legendary tight and loose cable walker Jean François Gravelet, better known as Monsieur Charles Blondin. His short stature of five feet five and 140 pounds combined with his strength would have enameled him to scale cliffs as well, most likely.

I have done some crazy things while serving, Australian rappel, body rappel, etc. But no ! I would not do this..... Have a great day CPL Dave Hoover

I've done both rappels as well, but I have no need to do the littoral high wire act! LOL
