I'm about 2 hours away from the Everglades and planning a trip this fall. I may have to look into this and put my Mossberg 590 to work.

That is a pretty restrictive set of prelims if they are truly wanting to get rid of a bunch of snakes.

That’s what I was thinking. Why not just ask for experienced hunters? That would open up the field quite a bit. I used to hunt snakes when I was a kid, and I doubt that pythons are more difficult than a cotton mouth or a copper head. If this problem persists, or God forbid- grows, I’d imagine that the qualifications will shrink. I guess we’ll see!
