I'm always amazed when a news media report says they have information from a Classified report. Nothing says intentionally leaked more than that but who does leaking snippets from this report truly benefit if any of it is at all true?

Nowadays it seems to be real easy (and very common I think) to label something "classified" on the headline. It may be, it may not be. It may just be a figment of the writer's imagination.

The only "winner" in this was Kim. He didn't ask for us to suspend Foal Eagle, it was offered up. I think that was a serious credibility gaffe, that I'm glad no president before offered, but it has been, and defending it based on economic means doesn't pass the common sense test. If our "strongest ally" has anything, it has everything on the US. I do not and will not sleep on Israel and her surveillance capabilities.
Israel has her own reasons for allowing this to be out. They have to keep us "in line" and know no one will question them openly. Obama did it and we saw how that went. They could virtually produce anything that would be questionable or even traitorous to US interests and we would take it with a smile. Bibi has that clout here, and enough power in both parties to keep anyone at bay. If they exercise it every once in awhile, I'm not mad in the least at them. This was a given away, not a leak.

I heard the phrase Ulchi Focus Guardian and I immediately thought "hey that must've replaced Ulchi Focus Lens." Either way, you're correct, the once a year joint exercise that determines US-ROK readiness to respond to a NK first strike has been shelved but Trump is uninformed, incompetent, ignoring the advice of his military advisors. These exercises are too expensive yet he pushed a Defense Bill with how much money for the military that argued they needed it for operational readiness?
Yeah, Israel wants our focus in the Middle East on Iran; they couldn't care less about Asia.
