The judge's decision relies on the misconception that President Donald Trump is not also a private citizen. The test is whether or not a person as an elected official has the same rights and privileges as a private citizen or not? In this case, the answer was "not." Trump will challenge the ruling and then win. His @POTUS Twitter account is different. That's a public domain and should be open to all who wish to view it. My opinion is that as a private citizen, Donald Trump has the right to exclude anyone he sees fit to exclude, including a former Gitmo MP guard who disgraced the nation by lying, disregarding his oath of enlistment and fraternizing with the enemy.

He doesn't use the @ POTUS Twitter though. He and his administration have specifically said that his Twitter that he uses is OFFICIAL statements. Anything that comes from that Twitter is him and is official. Therefore it's not private anymore and he cannot block people unless they violate Twitter ToS.

Here's the thing. Trump uses his private twitter account to tweet about policy and decisions regarding his presidency, he...as President is a proxy for our Federal Government, and out government cannot block or disallow any private citizen access to that government (unless it involves National Security). He therefor CANNOt block ANYONE from access to his private twitter account. Now, if he used his private twitter account for only things having to do with himself or his family and nothing to on with any policy or government action, he could block whoever he damn well pleases. It's his own damn fault, he got himself into this mess in the first place.

I agree with one exception - since Twitter is NOT a public domain entity (it is in fact a private company), Mr./President Trump may report for exclusion any Tweeter who violates Twitter terms of service, to include threatening language.
