Students from GW, Howard and Georgetown universities took an oath of office and were commissioned as either an ensign or second lieutenant. More than 100 audience members turned out to the theater after the event was relocated from the Lincoln Memorial because of rain.

When my brother finished at USMMA Kings Point, I commissioned him...I !et the O-9 very briefly who did the commencement when I was at USAF OTS, my parents were tjerez we spoke wit him for a few minutes at the dining in the night before....

Funny thing was, as I've related before, one !idshipmam did a cartwheel on stagez then they all took off their dress white jacketsmand jumped in the pool...the female midshipmen had batingnsuits on in preparation, obviously, lol....

I was an OTS grad. I never made my college or graduate school graduations as we moved before the ceremonies. So many of them are absolutely forgettable anyway. If we'd had a speaker like this I would have regretted missing it.

LTC Brown Congrats on being one of the OTS/OCS Mafia. I was just glad the Damn TAC Officers stopped yelling at us 24/7 just before graduation. Army OCS was not fun (nor was it intended to be) - you could never win and they ALWAYS found something wrong. Nonetheless - it made me a better Officer and ultimately a better GS-15.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - It looks like we went to OTS/OCS around the same time. I was Commissioned in Feb 1978. I was a little amazed that the USAF appears not to have to have a similar OTS Alumni Association. Regarding the brotherhood - it is now a brother/sisterhood. Have a great weekend
