A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and the military dog she served with during the Iraq War have been inducted into the New York State Senate Veterans’ Hall of Fame.

MAJ Montgomery Granger, many Marines that served with Leavey dispute the story conveyed in the film. I guess no matter what one does (or doesn't do), there will always be detractors.
