The Army is getting close to a final go ahead for new dress uniforms based on WWII era style? What do the Army veterans think about the return to a traditional style my Dad wore to his 1942 wedding?

SGT (Join to see) - Not me -- my 75th birthday was several months ago. However I am old enough to recall Pinks & Greens worn by commissioned & warrant officers (only).

SPC John Parmenter My apologies, I assumed you were currently serving. Though if you're interested, you would be able to wear these as a Veteran (if they are adopted by the Army). Thanks for your service to our nation.

Looking forward to it. These uniforms look more form fitting and will hopefully encourage some of our weight control issue folks to do something about it.

You know what always got me about the weight control issues when I was in. Most of the time the skin fucks that want to make comments, where go runners when it came to doing it slick, but could not keep up in full battle combat load.
