German Prime Minister Angela Merkel is possibly getting a Nobel Peace Prize. On the other hand, Germany is in no shape to defend itself. 14 years under her tenure has allowed her military to fall apart and be short 21k officers. Germany is supposed to put 2% of his gross national product toward its Armed Forces. Yet, for the last 14 years Angela Merkel has not maintained the German military.
