Funny. And I hope this gets shoved down the district's throats in court.

My youngest daughter made a "2A" shirt to wear to school on the day of the planned walkout nationwide. All my kids are in full agreement that everything about this is not only misplaced, but flat out BS.

I know I was fully prepared for ANY backlash against my daughter over her T-Shirt.

Quite frankly, this is the kind of bind schools put themselves into when they capitulated to political demonstrations by their students. You CANNOT, on the one hand, say "It's OK to protest against THIS" while on the other hand say "It's NOT OK to protest against THAT". Most especially issues involving the most basic rights that are explicitly outlined in the U.S. Constitution itself.

And most definitely NOT in public schools...which, by virtue of being "public schools" are, in fact, extensions of the government. The very government that all those restrictions written into the Constitution apply to.

I believe that the liberals want you to speak up when it is for something that they believe in and for you to shut the hell up when it is going against what they are “standing up for “. I wonder if they would stand up for the first admendment if it was going to be repealed?

SFC George Sease Thankfully we have the Second Amendment to make sure that the First doesn't get repealed.
