John Bolton chaired anti-Muslim think tank

How is it anti-Muslim? Did Bolton advocate for the elimination of the religion? Does he advocate the destruction of Indonesia, world largest Muslim population? Bolton is pro-West. There are many groups composed of majority Muslim that want to do harm to the United States and our allies. To be against our future enemies is not anti-Muslim.

It seems to me that the only thing that matters to people on these nomination committees and in the house & senate confirmation votes is what political party they belong to and who is in power...
I remember hearing of a conversation between two Dems at the First Clinton inauguration when a formation of fighter jets performed a fly-by. One Dem began to curse about “those damn Air Force planes” when the other Dem stopped him and said “Hey it’s alright, man. They’re ours now.”

Bit then when Obama tapped Petreaus to launch a similar operation in Afghanistan, he instantly became their knight in shining armor and their savior, hand picked by their messiah.
