Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that March 31 is the anniversary of the birth of Pope of the Catholic Church from 17 August 1740 to his death in 1758 Pope Benedict XIV who may be one of the greatest yet often overlooked scholars in Christendom who promoted scientific learning, the baroque arts, reinvigoration of Thomism -Thomas Aquinas] and the study of the human form.
Rest in eternal peace Prospero Lorenzo Lambertini!
