The Sri Dasmesh Pipe Band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia visited Glasgow in August 2015 to take part in Piping Live and The World Pipe Band Championships. It was the first time a Malaysian Pipe Band visited Scotland, and, indeed, the first time a Sikh Pipe Band had participated.
