I would like to see gun free zones law eliminated. open carry nationalized. I firmly believe that a armed society is a polite one. Evil or outlaws will not be successful if the intended targets are armed. Due process must be the path if weapons are being restricted from an individual. The Florida kid had interacted with LEO's at least 30+ times. There was plenty of just cause for the mental lock down course and for some unknown reason was not pursued.

SPC David Willis when I went to school most boys with trucks all had a shotgun or rifle in their back window, so no gun free zones back then now as soon as a kid has problems he knows he or she won't have much resistance going into the gun free zone at school and doing as much damage as possible.

SPC David Willis - Stupid non sequitor. Let’s just pass on the Whitehouse comparison for Gods sake. Check your weapon at the door.
If that’s a problem just enter the property carrying and see how that goes for ya.
Write your dead letter first.

Honestly didn't expect simply saying there are some places average citizens shouldn't be able to carry into was going to be so controvesial... yikes.

This seems to be addressing the symptoms rather than the root cause IMO.
We have had guns in this country for as long as we have been a country. The murder rate, according to FBI crime statistics, is actually dropping each year yet the push continues to disarm the population. WHY? What is behind this movement?
Some will undoubtedly point to the mass shootings and other senseless acts of violence as what they are trying to prevent or stop. Look at history, people have used fire (arson), bombs and even air planes to kill people, guns aren't the common denominator... evil intent is the problem. The mental health issues seem to be a major contributing factor.

I believe in the article that is where the temporary restraining order kicks in if the gun owner has met specific mental or lack of conditions. //I do agree on your overall theme on evil. But both sides are not doing any good in attempting to outright ban gun ownership or conversely allow every type of firearm or attachment to be legal. // I also would like to see the other side stop the negative comments and attacks against NRA type organizations. The NRA does not conduct background checks- the Fed government does. The NRA does not prescribe narcotics- the medical community does. The NRA does not receive tips, phone calls, e-mails about citizens which may present a danger to themselves or others- the local Police have that task. So the Lefts attack on a non profit organization need to stop before any compromise can begin.

Since the tech giants are all run by liberals, I don't think I want to see them get involved at all.
