Thanks CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing a US Office of Emergency Management from World War II video with a 1940s recording of The Caissons Go Rolling Along.
105mm howitzers, Shore batteries, M-3 tanks and M-3 half-tracks as well as M38 jeeps pulling 105's over hill and dale through water, etc. I liked the scenes of 81mm mortars in M-3 half tracks and ground-mounted 81mm mortars.

Personally, LTC Stephen F., I've always preferred the Official West Point March by Philip Egner rather than The Army Goes Rolling Along, but I'm sure that I'm in the minority!

LTC Stephen C. - I did as well my friend. I remember drilling and conducting pass in reviews as both were being played by the West Point Band.

"The Caissons Go Rolling Along" was originally the "U.S. Field Artillery March" when written by John Philip Sousa in 1917. The lyrics have since been adapted and it is now the official Army song and is entitled "The Army Goes Rolling Along".
