Why do the men have to run three minutes faster than the women?

MAJ Montgomery Granger - It was a rhetorical question to make a point. The point being that if men are required to meet certain physical fitness standards in order to successfully function as special operators, then it stands to reason that women should also have to meet those same standards in order to successfully function as special operators.

Some good questions but to keep them integrated won't ever work. Only by being in a females-only unit will they be able to fully prove that men didn't prop them up, give them leeway or special conditions, etc. Women integrated within an SF unit with men will always be accused of being rushed through training, not fully qualified, etc.

Females only? They'll shine spectacularly.

I don't understand the concept behind this. I'm not knocking women but what do you gain by having an all female team? If they're good enough to make SF, why not integrate them into the already existing teams? I couldn't play the sound here at work so maybe that was explained.

I wonder the same thing. Those that can hang could join a regular unit.
