Talk about a perfect example of Orwellian doublespeak. Self defense IS a very basic human right and (until we develop individual unhackable defensive force fields) best done with individual firearms. The countries with the worst human rights records, and populations who wish they had a different form of government, want the US to change the best Constitution in human history to suit THEIR worldview.
