Bilirakis legislation would help veterans sickened by exposure to wartime burn pits

Those burn pits are and have been for a long time the Agent Orange of the Gulf war. Brown& Root claims they operated the pits safely and effectively! Not likely they will take any responsibility for anything very soon. Vets shouldn't have to fight their own government for medical care. Something is dreadfully wrong with our 'system'.

The precedent has been set, fortunately. The government must take care of the those who protect it. Don't protect the companies that make the stuff that hurts us.

I wonder if the destruction of chemical weapons is part of this problem.
