Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that February 22 is the 68th anniversary of the birth of American retired basketball player Julius Winfield Erving II who is commonly known by the nickname Dr. J. who helped popularize a modern style of play that emphasizes leaping and playing above the rim.

What I liked was he didn’t get all activist in regards to disrespect of our country like some basketball players and Football players had been doing these days.
