It is just amazing that the MSM will not report this perspective from Mr Obama prior to the election anymore: “There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections, there’s no evidence that that has happened in the past or that it will happen this time, and so I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and make his case to get votes.” .....

Perhaps that's because there's nothing report. What's sad is the loss of perspective on what the Russia debate is all about: active meddling in our election through the form of cyber attacks, injected propaganda, and infusion of money from foreign sources to create chaos with public political opinions and distrust in government.
But hey, believe what you want to believe. By the way, Trump has yet to acknowledge the Russian meddling and cyber attacks and implement sanctions passed by Congress last year. Too busy talking about Obama and making it all about him.

Perhaps that's why Obama's focus and other commentary was specifically on meddling, interference, and cyber attacks with the intent to discredit our democratic processes from government to justice system to media.
Sorry, Obama never said or implied Russia rigged the election. Just like Trump has never acknowledged Russia's meddling and cyber attacks either.
