OBOGS is a strange animal. There are many ways it can fail, and no two situations seem to be the exact same. Sometimes it's just a lack of O2, sometimes it's a bunch of that white powder crap that comes out of them, sometimes they get a kink in the line. The best thing to combat it is having pilots who can recognize their symptoms and pull the green ring.

PO1 Tony Holland As our planes reach better and better capability our pilot support systems need to be re-examined and re0-engineered to ensure a properly conditioned and experienced aircrew member is protected and can operate the airframe in the expected parameters.
