I hate reading downed airman- and recalling a post from a few days ago in the first jet. Same thing- would hate being the first and war is a shitty game anyway. Thanks for my morning coffee read my brother.

in 1972, a Huey that was painted white with a red cross was found in a lake near An Loc. No one knew, at the time, how it got there or when it happened.

Used to watch the approach of the 747s carrying troops (they looked so slow) into Tan Su Nhut and think how easy it would be for the VC to knock one out. Could only think they didn't because it would anger the Americans into really expanding the war and bombing the crap out of the North.
