Women do not feel comfortable going to the VA for a myriad of reasons, and I would be somewhat sure it has nothing to do with Lincoln's quote. That a veterans group is pushing it is very surprising.

My wife is a Veteran and has been going to the VA for 20 years, as have I. Her only problem came with her eyes, the VA could no get to her as quickly as we wanted, so she went to a civilian doc.
