Good for them for honoring it (although I was surprised)! They should hang that paper ticket in a place of honor (many people have never seen one). And it's good PR for them to have honored it. Thank you.

WOW!!! And they really did honor it?? My oldest son retired from Continental Cargo several years ago while it was still Continental. I have not flown United for many years. Have flown a lot of airlines that are no longer in existence, first was DC-3 Ozark BRL to ORD back in "the good old days".

I agree with Susan great PR for them i actually had three of those vouchers back in the 80s when traveling around Thanksgiving or Christmas I would always book flights back to Lejeune a couple days earlier and then gave up my seat for a voucher I used them after I got out to go see my future wife while she was in college, thanks for sharing Maj Marty Hogan
