When it works, which would be spotty depending where you are, it would be great. Still no replacement for a well trained medic.

In theater, no cell tower reception, and your battery dies; now what do you do? OCONUS assignment your current cell phone won't sync with the local providers; now what do you do? The adaptor cable you need to link your phone with Military vehicle commo is also needed for CMD Combat control, ??? Med frequency is also assigned to ALOC, ??? Signal blocked by terrain, enemy jamming your signal, ??? The continued dependency upon electronic devices could be ones downfall when all you have to work with is your hands, eyes, ears, and nose.

In 1976 when I earned my MOS it was Books, memorization and more books BNOCS was the same and you had to teach. Electronic aids work well in the rear echelon but upon the line ??? Eyes, ears, hands, Nose.
