Happy Birthday Golden Bear; you have made golf an institution and pro golf a global sport; from Asia to the Middle East, Europe and America, the game of Golf is widely appreciated. Away from the U.K. and the U.S., in far away India, the BGS and the AGA battled through the Rider Cup on a Nicklaus designed course in the outskirts of New Delhi. This friendly rivalry began in 1954 and was first played by two diplomats: the U.S. Ambassador to India and the British High Commissioner in India. This game gave birth to a British Golf Society (BGS) and an American Golf Association (AGA) in India. Until 2010, the New Delhi Ryder Cup was alive, but then disbanded. The BGS is still living, but could lose membership with the departure of some illustrious leaders. BGS made its home course the Nicklaus designed course and I am a member here since 2007. I played three Ryder Cups in New Delhi, India; ten Diplomat Cup Tournaments and ten Expat Cup Competitions in India. However; I am keen to restore the history of the Ryder Cup in New Delhi at that Jack Nicklaus course. Will you assist me Golden Bear?

I can remember Jack Nickalus and Arnold Palmer both being the first two to even make over one Million dolllar's in prize money with PGA victories. That was great Golf on the part of both Men it was so great to see either of them play.
