I've never been overly impressed by "smarts". The smartest Presidents in my lifetime were Nixon and Carter and look how much good "smarts" did for them. And, if Obama was truly the smartest man in the room. please save us from any more of that.

Smart is often used, incorrectly, as a synonym intelligence, as dump is for stupid, or lack of same. No matter what you think of the guy, he's obviously highly intelligent. Smart, maybe not so much.

That photo is very telling. He's pals with racist Ted Nugent

I don't recall racism, but I distinctly remember him being bat-guano crazy.

SPC Randy Semanko - "is that what you call everybody you disagree with?" I thought that word was "snowflake". Can it be applied universally?

I didn't need proof, I just couldn't personallly remember any specific event. I've heard his unhinged rants, but I didn't follow his insanity very closely.

Since anyone could be, depending on the circumstances, be the smartest person in the room, this has some truth to it. If he's at a rally of his supporters, probably so. Otherwise, not much of a chance.

My thoughts exactly. In some rooms, he probably is the smartest one in there.....like in the picture on this post. But in a lot of other rooms, he may well be the dumbest one in the room. And IMHO.....there are many more of the latter than there are of the former.
