I was with 1st Bn 26th Marines, That fought in, "The Battle for Khe Sanh." Yes we were out numbered, some say by 10 to 1. All most of us knew if we did not hold the base, we were going to die. During the siege, it was so intense planes could not land to resupply us. So they dropped them by air. So many stories and so many lost in Battle. SEMPER FI

Our Government, Put the screws to us putting us in a defense position, when we always fought on the offense. All the men that died at Khe Sanh would be here today if it wasn't for two men. Johnson and Westmoreland. SEMPER FI
