This makes me proud to be an East Coast man. I haven't had anyone pump my gas for me....EVER!!! I saw this when I was a child and even then it was optional. Go #OREGONMAN

I thought for sure that this was a Duffleblog article. This can't be real can it? I mean, one guy said “I had to do it once in California while visiting my brother and almost died doing it.”. Really? I thought we were slow here in Mississippi but my 8 year old can pump gas (and enjoys it).

Hahahaha!!! The whole reason Oregon had a law requiring gas station attendants to pump gas was because some idiot offspring of a major Oregon politician hurt or killed himself while pumping his own gas. I forget the details, but it was a funny story in a Darwin Award kind of way.
