CW2 (Join to see) Since the 82nd us the only full Airborne Division left, and we were the first Airborne Division, supplying base elements to ALL other Airborne Divisions (that includes the 101st) in the US Army, that means we were and still continue to be the best Airborne Division in the US Army.
And we (the 82nd) are the oldest and greatest Airborne Division in the US Army.
